Thao Cao: What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Funnier - English Stand-Up Comedy
Fresh off the Edinburgh Fringe: Thao Cao's wickedly funny hour on survival, racism & bad luck. One night in Brussels. Vietnamese-Australian comedian Thao Cao turns near-death experiences, public racism and a lifetime of name-teasing into wickedly sharp stand-up.

The show opens with a contamination event. It ends with a humanitarian crisis. In between: dry, deadpan storytelling that finds the punchline in the parts of life you're not supposed to laugh about.

Thao has been doing comedy since 2014 and has taken her stand-up from Sydney's clubs to stages across Australia and the UK, including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and multiple runs at the Edinburgh Fringe. Expect sharp one-liners, personal storytelling, and a deadpan delivery that sneaks up on you.

Fresh off the Edinburgh Fringe, audiences said:
"Thao Cao is so funny. My ribs hurt."
"A feel-good hour full of laughs."
"Stories that felt personal and genuine."
"Funny 50 minutes - go see it."

You'll laugh, you'll cringe, and somewhere in the madness, you might just see yourself.

This is a pay what you want show - come along, laugh, and pay what felt right on the way out.
